To celebrate the 60th anniversary of TV broadcasting, 4 creators produced and directed motion graphics TV commercials.
The theme was the past, present and future of TV broadcasting.
We traced the history of TV hardware using simple and graphical images and expressed the transition of the era.
The commercials will be broadcasted throughout the 60th anniversary year in different time slots.
Using their remote cotrols, viewers will be able to switch between the 4 commercials on the same channel,
thanks to a breakthrough technology.

This picture book “THE POST-ALPHABET BOOK” is made up of the 26 characters of the alphabet from A to Z. Like with the example of “A is for APPLE of T and O,” the vocabulary presented is made into a graphical representation using the other two letters. In order to make a picture book where the reader could have fun learning while flipping through, I went with the idea of incorporating two other letters to jump around within the alphabet. The original idea for this book came from a picture book application for the iPad. I came up with the idea of making interactions that would permanently connect the image being displayed to other letters of the alphabet. In order to make the interaction with the book more intuitive, I made it like an application manual. This publication is a graphic art book that children around the world will want to read.

LED facades named ‘Kachi Doki Clock’ is commissioned to integrate into
glass curtain walls of the new building in front of Kachidoki station in Tokyo.
These facades look like ordinary glass during the day, however they are illuminated after dark.
One of the two walls is approximately 15.7m high and 9.1m wide, and the other is 9.5m high and 9.1m wide.

Graphic images are displayed on the LED facades using a digital control system, and move like an analog clock.
The images change at random displaying time, season and weather information taken from the internet.
Therefore, this permanent installation is there for our everyday lives.

The title of the work ‘Kachi Doki Clock’ comes from the site name, and at the same time,
it is a pun as ‘Kachi’ is an imitative word of analog clocks and ‘Doki’ is a mimetic word for thumping.

This was a newspaper campaign aimed at reminding people of the tradition
of sending flowers on Mother's Day.

Advertisements adorned with red flowers were folded into the day's
newspaper, recreating a bouquet of flowers. The design was inspired by
the custom of florists using old newspapers to wrap flowers in.

Kiosks in every station on Tokyo's Yamanote Line were turned into flower
shops, to spread the message to train riders and vendors.

The campaign received coverage from many other media, and the clients,
Hana Cupid and Asahi Shimbun, recorded a significant increase in sales.
